    FLIGHT

The long march of blurry days are invisible.
What’s to notice in these circles of work and supper?
We count our money and play with children.
Go to sleep again, dream, and wake—day day day day.

It’s okay. We tell ourselves. There is good music.
And friends. Long conversations and nice meals.
The lion in your heart is sleeping. Maybe meant to be.
But then you see a girl and all the birds leave their branches.

I am sitting here totally captivated by your prose. This is what drives me to write poetry every day. Beautiful.

This is just what I needed. I am standing on my kitchen table and Joe is all like, "what is going on?" and I am telling him there is so much love in the world. Also. I have no idea about the ss space thing. Let's ask on twitter? xo
